Cotter Enterprises, Inc. was established in 1979 and has specialized in building single family homes, townhomes and apartment communities in the Wiregrass area. Cotter Enterprises, Inc. has extensive development experience, has completed more than 12 townhome subdivisions and over 3400 residential units in Alabama.

Wakefield Subdivision construction began in 2007. This townhome community consists of 200 two and three bedroom 2-story units and two and three bedroom single-story garden homes.

A Wakefield Subdivision community clubhouse with pool is also available for use. The Wakefield community has a very active homeowner’s association that regulates upkeep, improvements and changes to the community.

Appearance and regular maintenance issues are monitored by the association, assuring the homeowner that their house values remain protected.
